Earlier this month, I was lucky enough to shoot a video for my song 'Lost and Found' with the lovely guys at IEM! This song will be featured on my upcoming EP, which I can not wait to share with you all.
You can check out there stuff here, and the video below!
2013 was an insane year for me, musically. I had the chance to sing with Ed Sheeran, did my first ever gig, met some incredible people and made even more fans. It was such a good year, I really couldn't have asked for anything better and I'm so glad I've been able to do such amazing things, a lot of which wouldn't have been possible without all of you! I'm so excited for what 2014 will hold. I know that there is a lot of exciting and fun things coming up, which I hope you'll all really like. My music is for you guys, to listen to and to hopefully enjoy and being able to do that is a very magical and humbling thing. I read every comment, see every like and share and I couldn't be more thankful for the things you all do for me. My dream is to be able to do this for the rest of my life and each comment, retweet, share, like and favourite get me one step closer to that dream coming true.
I can't say much of what's in store just yet, but I will be announcing more and more things over the coming months, so please stay tuned. I love each and every one of you; whether you're the silent follower or the constant retweeter, you're all the absolute best. Thank you again and again, I appreciate you all more than you'll ever know.
love your friend,
Today I was lucky enough to play at the launch of Maton Guitars' SRS series at Cranbourne Music in Blackburn. It was so much fun to play there and to meet some of the guys from Maton, especially Andy Allen from the custom shop! ( shoutout to his daughter Jazz :) )
It was such a good experience, hopefully I'll play there again in the future. I recently bought a Maton too, which you can check out here
Such a beauty! Hope you're all well :)
p.s. The BriBry gig is now officially sold out!! Thankyou so much to all who bought tickets, I can't wait.
Just a quick update to let you all know how things are going. I've been writing a lot recently which is very exciting. I'm really happy with the music I'm making and hopefully I'll be able to get into a studio and record them in the next few months, so you can hear some of my new material!
I just recently did a cover of the song 'The Fault in our Stars' by Troye Sivan. I talk all about the song and its inspiration in the video which you can check out down below.
Finally, in case you weren't already aware, I will be the support act for BriBry once again in March next year. You can get the tickets here. I'd love it if you came, it's going to be a heap of fun! That's just a little update on the life of Annika, as busy as it is.
I hope you're all doing well!
I've just released a new song of mine called Take Me Away, there is a free download if you click here
Hope you enjoy it, it's a personal favourite of mine :)
Last night I was lucky enough to be the support act for BriBry! The whole night was amazing, got a chance to play some new songs for the first time and I met some really great people. BriBry is the best guy ever, hanging out with him was a blast and meeting his friends was so good! Of course, BriBry was incredibly on stage. His voice is literally out of this world.
If any of you guys were there, it was lovely to meet you all. The amount of photos people asked for was incredible, you all truly made me feel like a star! I also got to hand out heaps of my wristbands which was so cool and if any of you didn't get one last night, feel free to send me a tweet and ask for some and I'll send them to you! I'm so glad I got to perform and the support I recieved was amazing.
So thank-you all so much for being the best people ever, it was one of the greatest nights :)
Hope you're all having a great week!
P.S. It's only a week until I go to Europe (ahhhhh!)
It's been an exciting couple of days! Obviously, this website has gone up and I'm extremely happy and proud of it and all that's happened because of it. Thank-you very much to everyone who has been supporting me non stop, and how great and patient you have all been, waiting for this to finally go live!
Last night, I got the privilege of seeing an awesome band, 5 Seconds of Summer live. It was such a good gig, everyone there was so lovely and I had so much fun. I met up with Kimmi Smiles, you might know her from her youtube videos (her channel is here), her friend Jordan from the band Move On Be Strong (his music is here) and Samantha who is an amazing photographer (her photos are here). It was so lovely to meet them, and Kimmi will probably be coming to my gig with BriBry on Wednesday!
I had these wristbands made, which you can see here:
They're so so cool, I gave some out last night and I'll be giving more out if you meet me at the BriBry gig! I threw a couple on stage and Calum was the best person ever and actually picked it up and put one on! Here's a cool as photo with him wearing one :)
I was fortunate enough to meet all the boys after the show, it was such an incredible night and heaps of fun! The guys are so lovely, kind and I gave Ashton and Luke a wristband as well and they were very kind about it all! Everyone I met was lovely, by the end of the night there were heaps of people wearing my wristbands which was so great!
Hope you're all having a good weekend!
On June 12th I will be opening for the lovely BriBry for his Melbourne show at SUB Bean Bag in Hawthorn! So excited to play, and to meet all the people that are coming.

Can't wait, going to be so much fun :)
Back in March, I was fortunate enough to meet the lovely Ed Sheeran again. It was an absolute blast, and whilst I was there I was lucky enough to sing Give Me Love with him which you can watch on my Videos page, or on my youtube! I had heaps of fun, and I can't thank Ed enough for the lovely night!
Hope you're all well :)
